GTC is starting a prestigious residential project of 700 apartments
Globe Trade Centre S.A. – acting through its 95%-subsidiary, GTC Slovakia will develop a prestigious 700-apartment complex on the hills overlooking the centre of Bratislava. The project has been named Vinohradis after the location, which is a former vineyard.
Vinohradis will be constructed on the slopes of Nove Mesto borough, at Sliacska and Podkolibska streets, near the forest park of Bratislava and in proximity to the city centre leisure activity and shopping facilities. Modern design of the buildings, green environment and unique views create a housing development that will attract home buyers seeking comfort, security and prestige.
In the first phase, Vinohradis will offer 176 apartments ranging from one-bedroom studios to large duplexes as well as loft apartments with spacious interior galleries and terraces overlooking the city, in addition to 247 underground parking spaces. The sale of the project will start in late March and the construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2008 .
In parallel, GTC Slovakia is developing another residential complex, located in the city centre and surrounded by the park. The project includes total of 186 units comprising14,300sqm of net area, where 99 units will be part of a hotel on the five lower floors while the other apartments will be located on the remaining upper levels of this 18-storey building. The construction is going to start in the first quarter of 2008 and the completion is scheduled by the end of 2009.
The two projects are developed together with a partner, with GTC Slovakia holding 70%.
